Rowena Palmer

Rowena Palmer is the Policy Director of International Health in the Ministry of Health and Wellness. She is a trained Journalist, PR practitioner and Public Policy professional, who holds a Master of Science Degree in Governance and Public Policy, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) Degree in Mass Communication.

Miss Palmer has served the Government of Jamaica for approximately two decades in the field of Communication, International Cooperation and Public Policy, and has held senior positions in the Ministry of Health & Wellness including Public Relations Manager, Country Coordinator for Jamaica-Canada Health worker Migration Study, and more recently Director of Policy Analysis & Research in the Office of the Permanent Secretary.

Miss Palmer is an aspiring Minister of the gospel, a passionate Kiwanian, a devoted philanthropist, and an avid lover of children, travel and creative writing.
