Message from the Chairman
The history of the Jamaica Civil Service Mutual Thrift Society Limited ‘The Thrift’, is a history of service to the nation’s public sector employees. From its inception over 80 years ago, ‘The Thrift’ has maintained a proud record of accomplishments and contribution in improving the lives of our members and their families through the promotion of savings and responsible borrowing.
Survival in tough and challenging economic times require the support of a caring and trusted financial partner. This is why ‘The Thrift’ has remained steadfast in its mission to serve the financial needs of its valued members.
As we continue our tradition of service, we will forever remain grateful to the vision of our founders; the outstanding leadership of our Committees of Management, the support of our members and the dedication of a committed, loyal and professional staff, all of which have contributed to our successes. We invite those public sector employees who are not members of ‘The Thrift’ to come on board and experience our service, product offerings and financial solutions.
We look to the future with confidence, as our sights remain firmly focused on continuing to build a solid institution through expanded membership, strong financial performance and the right mix of products and services to satisfy the needs of our members. Finally, we pledge to continue developing this fine institution for the benefit of our members.
