TEMPORARY CLOSURE TO THE PUBLIC

Due to the recent announcements by the the Government consequent on  the spike in the cases of Caronavirus Covid-19 to 105 in Jamaica and the ‘lock down’ of the parish of St Catherine which has severely impacted our staff, The Jamaica Civil Service Mutual Thrift Society Limited will be CLOSED, effective immediately, to the public until further notice, with a few exceptions.

The safety of our team members and you our valued members are our top priority, and so we are required to play our part in containing the spread of this dreaded disease.

In minimizing face to face transactions, members are asked to visit our Online Portal, our Website, or emailing  requests to transact business with the Society.

The following products and services are being offered on the Society’s Online Portal at https://logon.jcsmts.com.jm.

Ø  Applications for all loans;

Ø  Withdrawal from savings;

Ø  Queries of account balances, eligibility and transaction history statements.

The following requests will be facilitated by email to info@jcsmts.com.jm and memberservice@jcsmts.com.jm :

Ø  Letters requesting Cancellation and Closure of loan from Shares or closing of membership;

Ø  Email requests for status letters and statements;

Ø  Email requests for Change of Surety;

Ø  Requests for Increase and Reduction Orders;

Ø  Submission of confirmations for transfer of funds from Commercial Banks to the Thrift Society’s bank account.

Persons are required to visit the Society’s website at https://www.jcsmts.com.jm to download the forms when applying for membership with the Thrift Society

Members can also visit the Society’s website at https://www.jcsmts.com.jm and Chat-To one of our representatives; or make contact by Whatsapp to (876)815-1952; or by calling the Society’s switchboard at (876)926-5634-5 or (876)967-2104/2107 in order to obtain assistance  with your transactions or queries.

Until further notice all cheque transactions are suspended, and only transfers to Commercial Bank accounts will be facilitated.

All Cash Deposits and any other transactions with physical documents are required to be placed in a Drop Box available at the Thrift Society’s office. Members who are visiting to sign contracts and any other legal documents will be required to do temperature checks and sanitizing of the hands. Kindly adhere to these requirements.
