As Jamaica copes with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Jamaica Civil Service Mutual Thrift Society Limited is providing benefits to our members through our Covid-19 Thrift Members Relief (TMR). The Covid-19 TMR is designed to assist members who have been impacted by this pandemic. Members will be able to access the benefits, listed below, up to May 31, 2020 in the first instance, with a further review expected in June 2020.

Waiver of Commitment Fees

Between 50% and 100% waiver have been automatically applied to All Fees that are required to be paid Up-Front for the Society’s Products and Services. However, Fees for Credit Reports remains until the Credit Bureau waves their Credit Report Fees. All other fees deducted from savings will remain.

Moratorium on all New Applications for Loan

Each member who applies for a loan will automatically be given two months moratorium for the change in Salary Deduction to take effect.
